On to the next bit...

It's taken a few weeks of hard work and perseverance, but it's been worth it.  I'm fairly happy now with the hangar interior, and I feel like I know how to use Blender a little better than when I started this project.

The model itself was finished last week, but it took a little while to figure out how to get the texture baking to work in Blender so as to create a single texture atlas, rather than using different texture files.  (If anyone is interested, I found >this< tutorial most helpful, although I had to watch it through a couple of times)

The following video clip is the Hangar interior model loaded and displayed using AGK 2, and being lit by the rotating launch warning light rotating on the ceiling.

The next task is to write the ship leaving the hangar bit (There is a 3 count, and a small animation as the door opens and the ship launches) and combine this with the UI and the basic gameplay stuff.

Stay tuned, I'll post again soon :)
